The following proposals will be up for discussion at our AGM to decide how the votes at the IOMCCGBA AGM.
Development Committee proposal
RULE TITLE: Byelaws & Standing Order, Promotion of Competitions.
RULE NUMBER: 13 (ii)
PROPOSED CHANGE TO RULE/NEW RULE: The Association shall promote the following tournaments which shall be restricted to members of the affiliated Clubs.
25. The Development Committee will be responsible for organising a junior league and any other activities pertaining to development not already mentioned.
RATIONALE: There is no current rule within the constitution mentioning the provisions provided to our junior membership.
North Ramsey’s proposal
RULE TITLE: Green selection for Semi-Finals and Finals RULE NUMBER:
PROPOSED CHANGE TO RULE/NEW RULE: All Cup semi-finals and finals will be played on neutral greens or over two legs.
RATIONALE: To give equal opportunity to both teams and not show bias towards home teams.
Ladies’ section proposal 1
RULE TITLE: Byelaws & Standing Order, Promotion of Competitions.

CURRENT RULE: The Association shall promote the following tournaments which shall be restricted to members of the affiliated Clubs.
- Club Team Championship – (Open Team)
- Mixed Team Championship – (Mixed Team)
PROPOSED CHANGE TO RULE/NEW RULE: The Association shall promote the following tournaments which shall be restricted to members of the affiliated Clubs.
3. Mixed Open Age League Competition. The Executive Committee shall be empowered to decide the form of the league programme: – number of leagues, number of teams per league and issues relating to the promotion and relegation between the leagues.
RATIONALE: Drop the Club Team Championship and Mixed Team Championship and replace with a Mixed Open League Competition.

CURRENT RULE: The business of the Association shall be transacted by an Executive Committee which shall consist of the following officers who shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting.

- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Competition Secretary
- Development Officer
- Ladies League Representative
- Ladies Over 60’s League Representative
- Men’s League Representative
- Men’s Over 60’s League Representative

RATIONALE: Each Section (Ladies/Ladies O’60s/Mens/Mens O’60’s) shall determine who is elected to represent them at their ARRM.
North Ramsey over 60s proposal
CHANGES TO HANDICAPS APPLIED FOR THE MEN’S OVER 60’S TOWER INSURANCE CUP.
There seems to be little change that can be done with the way the draw is made for the groups, but we think the handicaps can be altered.
Our proposal would be
- First 5 in Division 1 – 0 handicap
- Second 5 in Division 1 – 2 handicap
- Last in Division 1 plus First 4 in Division 2 – 4 handicap Next 5 in Division 2 – 6 handicap
- Remaining 2 in Division 2 – 8 handicap.
