The start of the new season is almost upon us so hopefully you have all wintered well.
The Green
The green opens on Sunday 15 March, although the MSR will be using the green from Saturday 7 March for the Manx Youth Games coaching.
New Padlock
A new padlock has been fitted to the front gates. The combination remains the same, however, the numbers need to be aligned on the top row.
Easter Egg Roll – Sunday 29 March 1pm start
The Easter Egg roll will take place on 29 March, 1pm start – the draw for pairs will take place at 12.50pm, so please be at the green by 12.45pm. The afternoon will be run in a round robin format – a great way to get to know your fellow members.
Entry £2 and everyone gets an Easter Egg (providing I haven’t eaten them all by then!) The winners will receive larger eggs and the Manx American trophy will also be awarded to the winners.
We’ve booked good weather so come along for a roll – you can even pay your club fees then too! After the Easter Egg Roll we will be adjourning to the Woodbourne Pub for a pre-season friendly drink.
Membership fees
Full members: £50, Juniors: £10, New bowlers: £35 for the first year, Social bowlers: £20.
