A field of 19 ladies and 30 men contested the Paddy Power sponsored Douglas Town Cups this weekend.
Both the ladies’ and the men’s competitions were run alongside each other on what turned out to be a great afternoon for bowls.
In the men’s competition, Dave Bradford beat John Kennish 21-17 in the final. Losing semi-finalists were Matthew Quirk and Colin Kelly.
In the ladies’ competition, Paula Garrett beat Jo Smith 21-16 in the final. Losing semi-finalists were Pat Withers and Rita Callan.
Both trophies were presented by Andy Foster from Paddy Power.
