Douglas Bowling Club Mens ‘A’ Team… (AKA- The Mottley Crew)
A swift return to the dazzling heights of the 1st Division for 2012. A touch of brilliance shone out from the The Mottley Crew as they put together an impressive season in Divison 2. Going through the whole season undefeated and picking up every available aggregate point is going to be a tough marker for any other teams to try and get to.
There was certainly a steely resolve during the 2011 season. Let’s hope it continues into the 2012 season under the new leadership of Paul Kelly.
Paul and Ian Moore will be the spearhead of our displays in the coming season so it is up to the rest of us to throw our two pence in and see if we can’t avoid the gurgler.
