Despite the cold wind that was blowing in off the bay it turned out to be a hugely enjoyable day.
15 members of the Football Association turned up to have a ‘go’ at the game of bowls – bit of a contrast to running around booting a footy all over the place.
After a little bit of pointing in the right direction it was amazing to see the standard of bowling. Well done folks!
The afternoon was played as a Round Robin with the Football Association members all divided into 4 groups and the winners of each group moving on to decide the finals.

Because two of the players had previous bowling experience it was decided to play two finals: one for the non-bowlers and the other for the bowlers.
